I watched the moment when Shepard came to the council five times, and his speech, and then at the very end - "I'm trying to do what's best for Meredith, for the children, for you. Well, Derek is a jerk, he scolds his wife, substitutes his sister, and then pushes a tearful speech and everyone is like, "Oh, poor, poor", to me he's just an arrogant, arrogant type who considers himself the center of the universe!

well, you also have a strange logic. I agree that he should not reproach anyone with his decision, but no one gave him a choice: he also loves his children, and his wife..but for some reason Meredith (obviously out of envy) decided for everyone. so even after he stayed, she hated him outright.

Ыыыыы, люблю, когда противоположные мнения по вопросу, на который нет правильного ответа xDD
Ситуации как у Дерека с Мередит (или у Оуэна с Кристиной) - это жизнь, в ней нет абсолютного выигрыша, обязательно придется чем-то жертвовать и как-то это переживать потом. Как бы Мередит и Дерек не поступили, кто-то из них страдал бы, а следовательно, страдал бы и второй из них. По-другому просто быть не могло. Это сложно принять. Но радует, что сериал не идет по пути Мэри-Сью и сказочных хэппи-эндов. Но и с драмой на пустом месте не перебарщивает. Это крутой баланс.

Идиотка, задай себе вопрос: а если бы так рассуждал каждый человек, каждый ученый? Ну вот просто не дано нам знать, откуда берется молния. Или как развести огонь. Или как вылечить рак. Или вот как спасти мать от смерти при кесаревом сечении. КАК, как можно этого не понимать.

И да, согласна с Джексоном - этому можно даже позавидовать, ибо насколько удобнее жить, когда не надо тревожиться, потому что все за тебя уже кто-то решил.
Все еще не понимаю, как он может с этим уживаться. И еще больше не понимаю, как Эйприл может быть такой идиоткой и при этом хорошим врачом. Это взаимоисключающие понятия, по-моему, потому что врач не может быть глупым. А ее иным словом назвать сложно.

Спасибо за слова об Эйприл. Почему-то половина смотрящих фанаты их брака. А я все не понимаю, почему такое чудо природы Джексон (богатый, безумно красивый, но при этом Настоящий человечище, талантливый, умный, понимающий и верный мужчина…) выбрал глупую, эгоцентричную, религиозную фанатичку.

Удивляют обвинения Мэредит, что она никуда не поехала. Он дал ей выбор - мол, делай, что хочешь. Потом этот выбор забрал (как и всегда, он же должен быть на первом месте, по-другому ему некомфортно). Вижу комментарии, мол, могла бы там уехать и работать. Ну вот она не захотела строить карьеру в другом месте. Дереку тоже только Вашингтон теперь нужен. Вообще странные слова о том, что он не знает, что делать дальше. Ну, как бы ты врач. Спасать жизни, как раньше и кайфовать от этого. А нет, теперь Дереку не интересно спасать жизни, как это можно делать после президента? Уже планка ниже....
