old TV shows have a special charm. it manifests itself in the quality of the film, warm tones, soft features and completely different people in the frame. they are simpler, closer, more real. the world is not so much hidden by light filters, and the characters are not polished by HD and CGI. they remain human. many of their antics and emotions are cleaner and more naive, their movements are less precise, and the manners of the series are much more modest.
Monk is wonderful in some places. in others he is funny, in others he is ashamed of him and you really feel and worry about these emotions. The captain may be stubborn and harmful, but he's a very cool guy. and the lieutenant is a kind of handsome guy :) 12 years ago.
