Not a single comment on this series? Yes, this is Alan's best and most emotional speech. Brilliant work of screenwriters. Just an amazing performance of actors: both Candice Bergen and Shatner without words, and especially Spader. "Some leave too early and some leave too late." For me, this is the best drama series of the entire series.
@Finkel: yes, very strong. But it is difficult to comment on such topics. What can I say? I am generally amazed by the scope of the topics in this series, it is just a mirror of all the topical topics in the American legislative and political agenda. But not all topics are drawn to speak out.
There is Alzheimer's disease in the plots of many films and TV series, you already know a lot about it, but still you watch it every time and it becomes very uncomfortable, what a terrible disease...
I have to admit that I lack an original caste that restrains what is happening in reality. If the first 2-3 seasons of the series talked about a similar to an adequate legal firm with a couple of eccentric lawyers, in the fourth it was reduced to a theater of the absurd with a handful of borderline characters who still have a place in episodic roles, and not full-time.
Dani and Alan should dilute the mundanity with their presence, and not occupy almost all of his space. Their behavior and uniqueness is based on accents; immediately they just became regular buffoons, albeit in the main roles.
Interestingly, even Karl talked about this in one of the recent episodes – one case is more absurd than another. What happened to the company?
