Many people write that it's trash and all that, BUT personally I really like it. 😌 At the beginning of this episode , when the blonde was shown , I was already scared . She 's kind of fast
I expected them to explain at least why they were bothering the people on the bus. Maybe they'll connect it with a crushed snake somehow. And then some kind of non-firing Bondarchuk rifle came out...Who the fuck needed that snake scene?
Yeah... the series doesn't really fit the Masters of Horror. Treshanin about monyaks, that's all. Bazaar zero is a terrible bullshit of maniacs and all that, it's already happening in the world. Masters of Horror is still something with a mystical touch, isn't it??
I was surprised to find that I was only tangentially familiar with the work of director Larry Cohen – and yet he had shot a bunch of famous and legendary cult thrashing in his time. But I've only watched some of the films he wrote the scripts for. It would be necessary to fill this cultural gap, of course, but that's not the point right now. The series is very good: it probably doesn't reach the best in the first season, but it entertains very consistently and with high quality. A maniac thriller / slasher built on one original feature – and let there be two maniacs, and they operate completely independently of each other, and even more so, enter into a kind of confrontation or competition for the title of the best in their difficult craft. One is a hitchhiker. The other is a truck driver. Between them is a group of passengers from a bus that broke down on a mountain road, among whom is the nominal protagonist of the story (I really like Fairuza Balk, by the way). It's a great comedy horror movie. The meat level is quite high, but not excessive, as in some other episodes. It reminded me of a kind of splatterpunk light, like my favorite Lemon.

As a separate film, it would be cool.
