It doesn't feel like the end of the series at all. No storyline has been completed in this series. But if the series is still not renewed, it will be the most unfortunate ending of such a great series.
In my experience, I can safely say that when there are such "problems" in all areas at the end of the season, it means that the scriptwriters are confident that they can solve these problems next season.
I'm starting from that, too. Therefore, I am almost sure that the series will be renewed. We have prepared such good soil for the next season. All the characters were driven into a complete *opa so that they could get out of there for the entire fifth season. It was the same with Bev and Sean's breakup.
Oh, the ending without a fight would not have been the final) I suddenly caught myself thinking that I was rooting for Merk - it turns out that this crook has sunk into my soul. Helen was disappointed, not by her sudden paranoia, but by allowing her personal feelings to influence her professional decision so much. Oh, noooooo) It's a good season.
@empsokol: Yes, Marla's face has been the main mystery since the very first episode. At the same time, everything is fine with the actress - in the TV series "uncle" she is even a little sexy)
Hmm, can't Sean and Bev refuse to cooperate with the channel and revoke the rights to the series? Everything was arranged strangely with this director: she turned a blind eye to the very real betrayal of her husband, and because of the imaginary affair she became so enraged.
I was absolutely delighted with the first season, then gradually the series began to slide into the cesspool, where it is now. Jokes have become completely toothless, stupid, and those that claim to be funny have already been heard earlier and are simply being repeated. On the tenth round, laugh at the awkwardness of Matt sleeping with an Englishwoman — fire me.
Screenwriters are lazy. The show was developing until the third season, but then it started to decline. Even guest stars don't help fix the problem of idiotic and cliched plot twists. By God, even in Suits, it's not that obvious.
I just thought that Carol had finally found a good loving person, and here it is. Nasty Helen pissed me off more than Merk and Castor had before. And I feel sorry for Carol, everyone is kicking her:(
as for the series itself, in my opinion, the jokes are still funny, and the acting is on the level, but the plot component is falling apart. If, when watching previous seasons, Bev and Sean wanted to stay in Los Angeles so that they could make a hit show there, then after this season I want to tell the characters: better come home, it's not worth it! so the series ends on time. and there is an opportunity to think over a good ending.
