He survived because the grenade somehow ended up under this patient, and not under Kelly..

Logically, this is just the brother of a character from the Police, just in the Police this line first lit up, just in the Firefighters and for no reason at all showed a dialogue between brothers from a TV series about the Police, but I'm sure there are people who watch one series, but don't watch another and it would be strange for them to see the flashback intro to the Firefighters, which was not even in the series. So as for me, it's more of a spin-off spin-off.

And for Chicago, Honey is very happy. I hope their cap will be good and the series will bloom as well as Firefighters and Police. Even when the Police first appeared, they already drove jokes on the Internet, saying that soon there will be spin-offs about plumbers and fitters and all that, but personally I wouldn't care and would even watch this if it was at the level of Firefighters and Police in quality :)
plus, there was already a moment when a person asked about the completion of the line (I don't remember which one of them, when the crossover was with a nepper).

well, if you think about it, then you can understand them. Some simply did not want to watch the spin-off because they did not like it, and there are also people who are not so sensitive to the series and do not follow the news about spin-offs and other things.
Although, the series itself is a fuck, but at the same time (I don't remember how and why) I missed the news that a series about the police had already appeared and in general I came across it in some group on TV series. I also remember then I was surprised that they had a logo and the name was too much like Chicago Firefighters ahahah)))
I think that people just didn't follow the news either, because I don't believe that firefighters can like and policemen don't like =)
And about the spin-off, Google, there is no information anywhere that this is a spin-off of the police, everywhere it is said about firefighters. And why, in your opinion, did they then have to show the introductory episode in the fire department, and not in the police

Ну и издеваются же сценаристы над Кейси и Доусон
И я очень рада, что каст в медиках и в этой серии отличается
У этого Уилла с тем, который будет в меде, разве что лицо общее. И брат xD Все перекроили потом. А завязка с хирургом была интересная, уж явно лучше, чем Нэт.
Но хотя бы придумали, почему ED по-другому будет выглядеть... изнутри. А вот когда успели здание снаружи перестроить - это вопрос 😂
Я думала скажет "Ты меня спас", на минуточку. Такая обыденность, покоробило.
И то ли мне показалось, но Кейси прям какой-то супер красивый в этой серии и в этом хаосе
Насчет приказа шефа, кто пойдет в здание с огнетушителями, по-моему было глупо отправлять Скотта Райза, у которого есть ребенок. Со стороны шефа разумнее было отправить Круза и того же Мауча (например).
А так, в общем серия взбодрила сериал. Круто видеть всех героев Чикаго в одной серии
Медики и пожарные вместе, это просто ваууу 😊
Напряжение от первых до последних минут.
Приятно видеть в одной серии все структуры Чикаго. На минуту даже забылась, что смотрю не медиков, а пожарных😅
Этот долгожданный момент между Доусен и Кейси, а в итоге она опять «это эмоции», какие блин эмоции, это химия ⚛️
