The series is weaker than 14, but I really liked it anyway. This is really a different Haven. This half of the season is like a brand new one, because there is practically nothing left of the old one.
It's not often that Season 5 is so exciting! we have moved away from Haven, which we remember and love, but we have created something new, fresh, but continuing the old lines. In my opinion, it's a top-five job, well, maybe with a minus)
The trouble with the darkness reminded me of the monster Vashta Nerada from season 4 of Doctor Who, where the darkness also gnawed at people's bones (although their consciousness was moved to a conditional storage))
Damn, I didn't think this would happen, I was expecting the worst, but I really liked it. Not the Haven we knew and loved, of course, but it's also very, very good. I was satisfied. It doesn't happen often on season 5 :) I'm looking forward to the next episode.
Is Duke putting superglue on his hair? No matter what happens to him, not a hair will move. It prevents me from perceiving the video sequence normally. It's too fake.
Why didn't it occur to anyone to light a campfire with torches instead of dubious flashlights with batteries? It reminded me of "revolution", where for 42 episodes I only managed to catch a glimpse of a bicycle in the crowd once.
@jj_cas: Have you noticed anything in the series besides the fap "on Dyusha"? Your Ducha, when it started to burn, ran away, abandoning his friends. And Nathan, who was being bullied by everyone, stayed to sort out everything that had happened.
