Yeah, I knew she wasn't much of a mother because of all these unnecessary prohibitions, but I thought she still had at least some respect for Lane, and she just kicked her out like it wasn't her child at all. Plus, Lane said herself that she doesn't want to hide everything from her, wants to live a normal life, but no, Mrs. Kim needs to be in charge😑

Finally, Lane will stop lying and getting out of it. when she entered her room and saw that she no longer needed to hide, she exhaled — I exhaled with her. I thought that after her mother saw that her daughter was calling her boss and someone else's mother instead of calling her own and telling her where she was, she would understand something. but no, it can't be that simple. this stupid and stupid conservatism of Mrs. Kim is killing me, well, here we go.

@stumpsy: in the two thousandth, the abuser was not used.
I agree that Lane's mother is a fucker, but such upbringing is accepted in their environment of immigrants (in the Difficulties of assimilation (TV series 2015-2020) this is covered) and the mother piously believes that she cares about the best future of her daughter.
