@Ryan2782: It sucks when trekkers and indeed any series about galactic adventures and travel are watched only because of the "shura-mura" of the heroes

@Cexmet: and this finale surprised me. Why was it necessary to cut out Trip? The most interesting thing is that when I watched the series, I didn't expect a 100% happy ending. I thought that everyone would be alive, but Trip's and Tpol's personal life would be full of problems or it wouldn't work out at all. However, such a blunt end outraged to the core.

The plot with Zindi is the best in the whole series, imho.

In general, I didn't really like the series. It differs sharply from the previous 4, and not for the better.
The end actually killed. Why was it necessary to cram Riker and Troy, the holodeck and the simulation in here? That's just why the hell??? Because of this, it seems that we are being shown not the team that was discussed all 4 seasons, but their faded, unnatural and implausible holographic copies.
T'Pol has been made even more human, the rest are behaving strangely... It would be better if they just filmed a series about signing the charter (or what are they signing there?).
And the whole fourth season with these "arches" is a nightmare. Star Trek has a format, and basically it was 2-3 double episodes during the season, and the rest were singles. And here are 4 episodes about Sung, 3 episodes about Klingons, 3 episodes about something else, and it came out overloaded.

Well, great ending! Even Enterprise-D brought in Riker and Troy (pretty fat hehe). I just feel sorry for Trip. And I was hoping that she and Tpol would have a baby... But the tear was knocked out with a bang.
And in general, although I barely pulled out the first three seasons, the fourth was good, finally with interesting plots, and the ending is quite a worthy "final chapter", more precisely, as an afterword to the series and at the same time, as it closes them in a chain.
Only Archer's speech was "turned off" in vain, at first disappointed (praised so much that they could not write?) And then, it turns out, the famous passage from the screensaver of the original series and TNG was that it? It's not completely clear.

@alavitka: The phrase "to go boldly where no man has gone before", as explained in the first episode of Enterprise, belongs to the inventor of warp drive
At the end, it is simply repeated by the captains of the Enterprise, whom we already know and who said this phrase in the screensavers, including Archer

@Enigme: So, did Archer just repeat Cochrane's speech at the ceremony? That's my misunderstanding.

If I had a time machine, I would do two things:
1) I would make a film on DS9, where they would dot all the "I".
2) I would put the writers and producer of season 4 RIGHT AWAY.

It would be better, of course, to do without the second half of the episode.

Reviewing the series once again, I caught myself thinking that everything is not as bad as it is commonly believed. Yes, the third season is a full paragraph. But the first two and the fourth are quite good.
Do not forget that the plot is before the appearance of the Federation. People have completely different views on life and the world around them. Accordingly, they act quite differently. Is Archer shouting too much and generally aggressive? What were you waiting for? That it will be soft and bend under everyone? Then there would certainly be no Federation.
The appearance of Riker with Troy and (almost) Data is right very good.

That's right, it's unclear how the Federation has grown thanks to Archer. All (future) captains were leaders, diplomats, scientists, diplomats, and here is some collective farm with an eternally dissatisfied face and breaking into a scream at the first problem.

@Hohn: It's simple. Remember the very first series - without it, the Earth would have continued to improve the engine indefinitely. How this would affect the life of the Quadrant is easy to predict - a war between Klingons and Romulans. The rest would just be wiped out.
Here, of course, I leave out all the jokes with the (cold) time war...

Just because one of the leaders didn't have the best character doesn't mean the others were the same. Even in this series, the main politician was quite normal in this regard

The number of characters is just off the scale. To begin with, the whole series from beginning to end was aimed precisely at killing Trip. Question: why? The end of the series, you can safely finish. Okay, killed, ok. But why did the team hardly react to this? I remember how at the very beginning they mourned the loss of minor crew members, how they were buried. It doesn't compare to the loss of the chief engineer on whom this ship was held. And finally, after everything that happened, everyone calmly went to the ceremony, even without sadness on their face. What?
Trip himself also distinguished himself, by the way. I don't go into so much detail when watching, but before his death, he behaved well, sooo unnatural, I can't say exactly how, but it feels good when you watch a bunch of episodes in a row. It's immediately obvious that something is wrong here.
About the whole series, I will say that it does not look like a track (I have watched only CBT so far, I compare it with it, perhaps I will add it later). Gloomy, although they tried to joke at the very beginning. Despite this, everything is quite good. Besides the arch with Zindi, I don't know what's wrong with her, but she made me quit watching for two years. I took out the last season, already from the first arch I felt "at home". I will single out the "Shuttlepod One" and "Singularity" series separately, they were remembered very well and I will definitely revise them in the future. The characters, although not revealed in the way I would like (this whole novel by T'Pol and Trip was terribly annoying, they could not start or finish normally), are good. I will miss this team, I went on to explore the Star Trek universe)

A wonderful series. Despite the large amount of negativity towards this series, it is a pity that it ended. I would love to watch a couple more seasons.
Perhaps I don't have much to compare with, because I've only watched full-length films (all), Discovery and Picard ...
Although there are a couple of oddities in the series after all:
1) Well, why, why are the captain and the main officers ahead of everyone? It would be possible to invent local red shirts. And so, they get all the bumps. Besides, was it really so difficult to take on board competent employees who could replace the main officers? As soon as they lose their Phlox or Trip, that's it, we'll all die and not fly anywhere.
2) Trip. What for? Why was it necessary in the last episode, when the series ended anyway? And, moreover, so stupid.
3) It's a pity that T'Pol and Trip didn't work out. Some losses for their characters could brighten up their fate.
4) It would be possible to show Archer's speech at the end in the last episode.
Otherwise, everything is fine. The Vulcans (represented by T'Pol, T'Pau and Ambassador Soval), Andorians and Denobulans were very pleased. I hope other races will also be revealed in other series, like here.

You really have nothing to compare it with. Look at Next Generation, Voyager, the original. And then everything you've seen will sparkle with different colors

If the series started immediately with the 3rd season, there would be a cannon. And so 3/5. The characters (except Phlox) are still boring.

How could the series be so ruined by the last episode. Are the screenwriters stoned or something? What the fuck was killing Trip for? I wanted to continue watching other series of the universe, but now all desire has disappeared.

That is, Suicidal Sergey, excuse me, Malcolm, who was preparing to die with a tragic failure for almost the entire series, because his ancestors bequeathed him so, is alive, and Trip, who has some goals and life, in principle, is dead?
The relationship with T"Paul is strangely over/not over.
That's what it was and why?
The last series in general would be more suitable in TNG.

@hinarien: damn, and I was sure that Archer was the most suicidal there in the last season 😅
Oh, do we have a silicone virus? I'm going to take off my costume now to try to save an ALREADY dead person!
Oh, need a host for the virus to save the Klingons? I'm here, come on doctor
And these are just the moments that are immediately remembered))

Trip does not show such inclinations at all))

The expected forced finale of a good season, alas (if I didn't know about the thousand of the last episode, I would write with boiling water only from the Enterprise-D render…
Otherwise, a psychotic Trip, which they didn't really have time to remember, a universal Shran ex machina, a repainted TPol, a fat Riker, very mixed impressions. But against the background of Discovery, where all this is the norm, it's very good)

The first Star Track that I watched from beginning to end in a row (before that, I accidentally got on separate series of TOS and DS9). Then I watched the entire Star Trek at the moment, including animated series. And now "Enterprise" is the first Star Track that I've reviewed.
And he remains the most beloved.
The path is not the best, even if it was slaughtered in half because of studio showdowns, but still.
I'd really call it "The Adventures of T'Pol and her Friends")
