What kind of stupid tantrum is Jody having?? Out of the blue! I didn't even understand what Beth had done, even after the scandal! Like you were translating to me what you wanted me to know. Well, if she hadn't translated, you wouldn't know anything at all, would that be better? Where's the logic, awww! And Bette smoothed over this moment for everyone by translating the question to her. And everyone laughed, right? It was obvious that, yes, Bette was a control freak, but she just really wanted everyone to be comfortable and definitely didn't have any malicious intent, and as far as I was concerned, she did everything well - she practically didn't translate, except for those moments when the lines referred to Jody personally and it was obvious that she didn't understand. So Jody's outburst about being insulted in some way is just dumb. Bette has learned a whole complicated language to understand her better, and it still turns out that she's not trying hard enough, insulting someone, and generally wanting to be worked for. I think Bette was right about that.… But of course, no matter what the right logic is, you can't go against the disability card, and in the context of this series, even the gay card doesn't cover it. The joke is that you kind of broke your brain, no matter how you insulted a person, you got caught up, but in the end he still found a reason to be offended, I hate that.

I think Jody is right about this situation. If she needed a translator, she would invite that guy and he would translate everything for her. Maybe she just wanted to be with Bette's friends and not draw attention to herself, not feel like she was special, so that Bette would translate for her all evening. Bette, on the other hand, did not listen to Jody's wishes at all throughout the series, but only tried to make everything as good as possible according to her own ideas. And Bette does this not only in this episode, but throughout the series. In her relationship with Tina, she was constantly pulling the covers over herself and trying to solve everything for the two of them. At the same time, she became bored when Tina was a submissive and domestic wife. It doesn't suit Jody at all, she's generally not used to being in a relationship with one person, and then there's Bette, who's trying to control everything and doesn't listen to her opinion. Therefore, Jody realized that this was not suitable for her and successfully got away from her.
