Patrick buys shoes and asks for SpongeBob's help. SpongeBob realizes that he forgot how to tie his shoelaces. Now it does not give him peace of mind and prevents him from calmly performing his daily duties. Spongebob turns to the Flying Dutchman for help, but he can't help Bob either, since he doesn't wear shoes where else he showed other knots. In the end, Gary ties Spongebob's shoelaces and sings a song that tells how to tie them properly.
