Initially, why was it necessary to play with the old man at all? You won 20 lakhs, you would have paid off the debt, you gave 10 lakhs to that woman as promised, and then you could have come up with another plan to deceive this leader. But for him, it's either everything or nothing. And in the end, he was not just left with nothing, but also went into negative territory - he lost his fingers and ear, which it is not known if it is possible to restore.

@arabico: Because this series is about excitement and recklessness. The Casino never loses, it cannot be defeated.

It's not a pity at all, what a fool. I decided that he was smarter than this grandfather, who earned so much money, including by visiting people. He deserved what he got. I should have left earlier

You're a fool, Kaiji! It's so stupid to merge everything at the end and not even return to its original state, but specifically downgrade in every sense - it's still necessary to try! It was so epic to win against Tonegawa and so stupid to merge the game against Hedo, completely forgetting about what strategies he had been playing before... And after all that had happened, he still wanted to take revenge on his potato-eating grandfather, in his position?! Well, this is doubly some kind of stupidity, truly dementia and courage... There are simply no words - a complete disappointment by the season finale, not only in the main character, but also in this anime itself. Yes, the title with the even arches was unlucky, they came out much weaker than the odd ones, in my opinion. The cards turned out to be the most interesting and intriguing games, but the beams and these napkins are some kind of crap, to be honest, it's also too predictable due to their initial imbalance according to the idea. In total, my verdict for season 1 is 7/10, purely for two really cool card games that pulled everything off!
