s01e01 — A Gift from the Glish

Fans of BBC products will meet many familiar faces, led by Nick Frost and Kevin Eldon (the role of the latter simply has to remind you of the purity maniac from "Black Books"). Invariably ridiculing the cliches of science fiction, the authors also pay a lot of attention to British identity — the fact is that in the world of the series, despite the development of space technologies, countries have remained on Earth, and both Great Britain and, for example, Denmark have their own fleet, so the crew of Camden Lock protects the interests of their country, meeting with alien races and making various agreements (well, at least trying to).
