I would say it was an inspiring episode, when they showed that he started walking, I already got goosebumps. And he fulfilled his dream, despite those dudes at the travel agency. Fine.
The first time I watched it, my heart almost stopped when Jack saw that man in the bushes... and even though I didn't really like Locke as a character, but, my God, Terry O'Quinn plays great, the scenes with him are incredible!! * Throwing Oscars*
@Alterr_Ego: clearly these are Jack's hallucinations, otherwise he would have told others that he saw him, asked Locke if a man was walking towards him
@Snt_Alex13: And after all these years, nothing has changed. XD Locke is just the best character for me.
And the series itself is well gorgeous to the point of outrage. After 4 years, I decided to reconsider (well, finish off at least to the end), all the emotions and feelings, everything is like the first time.
So far, I have one question: WHAT IS GOING ON ON THIS ISLAND??? A polar bear, an incomprehensible monster, Locke can walk, a signal that he has been spinning for 16 years. p.s new in "lost team"
@k_desperate: imagine, you can't walk for many years, and then finally, without any operations, you can run - well, isn't it happiness? He understands that this is all an island.
What a nasty guy Locke had at work. I just want to vandalize him in the forehead. "Only I know I can" is five. It is necessary to remember and adopt. In general, Lock is very interesting and frightening at the same time. I wonder what kind of monster is on the island, how Locke managed to catch a boar and why he started walking (although I can still somehow come up with an answer to this question, unlike the others).
A gorgeous series, the story of Locke is generally gold It's cool that the comments already seem to be only those who watch the series for the first time many years after its release just now (like me), it's more interesting to read the comments)
I've heard a lot about the series, but I'm just starting to watch it now. I am very glad that I did not stumble upon any spoilers (and this is very unlikely, given the popularity and age of the series)
so far, there are only questions and terrible fear in my head from many heroes , if you think about it, and in reality we are surrounded by people with similar problems and it is depressing
Lock was mysterious before and has not become less mysterious now, but his story penetrates to the depths of his soul. The "get up and walk" scene after the fall is generally gorgeous, you can feel his relief right there, as if you yourself went through a legless existence. this is his smile and happiness when everyone around is shouting "help." The man has seen the light.
I like so much how both Jack and Sawyer tried to stop Miss Austin from going out at night, they waved their arms, well, they do things with whom to peer. I'm even more excited about how Kate is constantly firing at our Doctor everything that she and Said are stirring up, it looks very funny.
Jack has the most obvious savior syndrome, no matter how he denies it, which is absolutely natural in his line of work. I want to see how it will work out for him (already, ghosts are roaming the bushes), and how he will cope with it, because I respond too much to this in people.
Michael is certainly trying, but so far he can only constantly bully his son, however, it is difficult to be a parent when you just don't know how to be one.
"Only I know that I can." Locke's equanimity is captivating, but his obsession, desire for everything, and most importantly to prove something to himself, frighten much more than this interest. After all, now he keeps the secrets of this place, even though they can obviously harm others. Just out of gratitude for being able to walk again. Locke's story is the most intriguing, Terry O'Quinn is great, but there is no unambiguous relationship to the character at all. Does the miraculous island heal? Or did the psychotrauma have such an effect on physiology? And what kind of monster is there? And is it a monster, or just a car?
A very touching memorial service, especially performed by Claire. I was pleasantly touched by the moment when marauder Sawyer gave away the personal belongings of the victims, my cat. But I understand perfectly well why Jack can't accept it. When you save people, it's hard to realize that they're leaving anyway. Because some things are just not in your power, no matter how hard you try.
Locke's story is creepy. They are inspired by people who believe no matter what. So is Rose, her undying hope and her words make you think. Oh, and this series has dragged me down! I can't even predict what will happen next.
– Only I know that I can! Don't you dare decide for me!
It would seem to be a ready-made motto for life. Take it and use it.
However, in the context of the series, it's not that simple. In fact, a person is so desperate that he clings to impossible goals in every possible way. What's the big Australian wheelchair trip? Dreams are dreams, but sometimes you can't jump over your head, even with a great desire. Clinging to illusions all your life is also not an option. Except for illusions, there's nothing left. An impossible dream is the only thing that gives you the strength to wake up in the morning and to part with it means admitting your own worthlessness. Therefore, for me, the series is rather sad and scary, if inspiring or uplifting.
A great series 🔥 for someone this disaster brought misfortune-and for someone the fulfillment of a dream🥰 A very intriguing series, and the series in general))
Revision. Although I remembered what happened to Locke, but the series touches me like the first time.
- Don't tell me what I can't do! Like a cry from the soul. Punches to tears. Everyone would have such willpower, many without a wheelchair have long lost all meaning.
It's 2022, and I'm starting to watch the series for the first time. I ask the experts who watch the series on the tenth circle not to spoiler (( It was impossible to read the comments under the first episodes, every "self-respecting" lostoman considered it his duty to write that they all died or that the series slipped after three seasons.. Why are you writing this under the first episodes of the first season??? I hope that only those who want to discuss a specific EPISODE, and not the series as a whole and not its fifth season, will remain in the comments.. Have a great viewing, friends!❤
It feels like 90% of Kate's lines are: "Have you seen Jack?" "where's Jack?" "I'm looking for Jack." It's already annoying, to be honest, it's just too much. Although their line itself is kind of nice and they look good. That is, I'm for their couple, but damn, why is she always looking for him? 😂
That's the twist in the episode finale. It's interesting that the whole episode was hinted at in a thin layer what was wrong with John, here shooting from a certain angle only a sitting Locke in flashbacks, and emphasizing his gaze on his legs while already on the island, and still the ending surprised.
And it seems like such a touching series about Locke, but ... I understand - miracles and all that, but this "got up and went" is terribly unrealistic. Here, after a fracture, you literally learn to walk again, and the muscles of a person who has been in a wheelchair for obviously more than one year undergo gradual atrophy and it takes a lot of time and physiotherapy to start at least a little, not that walking is at least standing.
Although okay, what am I doing anyway - it's a Lost one. You'll see more than that here😄
Locke is a very interesting character. And Michael disgusts more and more with each episode: a whiner, a suffocator, always looking for a source of problems in others

This is my destiny.
I'm worried about what kind of animal it is that no one talks about it.
