The plot of the series is based on adapted stories from various works in the Jeeves series by P.G. Woodhouse. Therefore, it is filled with witty irony and mockery of the worthlessness of the idle English aristocracy of the 1920s with an abundance of incredibly comical situations and hilariously funny trivia situations. No serious topics, difficult questions, or, God forbid, real problems. Funny characters are funny dealing with funny troubles. Their amazingly curious adventures and inventive rescues from the stupidest and funniest alterations do not let the viewer get bored, and even cause empathy, although it would seem that nothing really terrible threatens any of the characters.
A thoughtful script, excellent props, a pleasant picture, good editing, proper music, accurate casting, and, of course, the talented, inspired and mischievous play of the couple Fry and Laurie, with an absolute and surprisingly organic entry into the images of the main characters. A magnificent, incomparable, reference film adaptation of Woodhouse. Very funny. I highly recommend it.
Ahahahaha, the effect of the signature cocktail is simply inimitable) I feel like we'll see him more than once) I'm a Jeeves fan with his ability to lower a person calmly, politely and with full respect for hierarchy :DD It looks like Ganoria really had every chance to mold Bertie into a human, but the damn cats ruined everything))
"His last jack stole socks" looks like a joke about the fact that in the Blackadder series Hugh Laurie already played a character whose socks were stolen by a servant (Rowan Atkinson).
