Description
Jack Torrance accepts a caretaker job at the Overlook Hotel, where he, along with his wife Wendy and their son Danny, must live isolated from the rest of the world for the winter. But they aren't prepared for the madness that lurks within.
It's a creepy story, but very interesting.
I was very worried about Wendy and Danny😢
He is an emotionless loony, and she is a mangy horse, which I'm sorry, but not according to the book
I can review it endlessly.. And every time as the first
But I never thought that the film was a psychological thriller mainly about domestic violence, values, where the hotel simply reveals the true essence of the characters. There is no such thing as evil because there is an evil spirit. The actress was also infuriated by her behavior, but if you think about it, there's a hell of a lot of mothers with such spineless behavior. And more often than not, in reality, the mother will end up under the axe with the child, and it's scary. And the film gives hope. Hope ept.
Nicholson's grimaces, Duvall's serene face, and the music, now insinuating and absorbing, now disturbing, did their job.
I missed the cook's line and their almond connection with the kid
