Usually Shinkai is too romantic for me, but this anime turned out to be fantasy, dynamic, funny, and sad. Everything in it is in moderation, but Deijin stole my heart altogether) is an ultra-cute talking demigod cat even legal?))
Specifically for me, this is definitely one of the best works of the director - a very warm and light, but personal story with, as always, a fascinating visual, a beautiful soundtrack, but this time also with an excellent plot. The anime is very dynamic and exciting, with lively and memorable characters, largely nodding towards Miyazaki's works, and the theme of nature does not just serve as a visual tool or concerns specific characters, but directly reflects the reflection and history of the inhabitants of Japan. An amazing symbiosis. Bravo, Makoto.
oh my God, how I cried in the cinema.
He just wanted love, but it didn't work out for him.
But no kidding. What an action it is. A gorgeous piece. The whole range of emotions. So many changing events immediately cover this story with their heads.
It's just unbelievable.
I was crying because of the cat 😥
Anyway, the antihero cat and the love line with the chair are ingenious solutions))
And the rest of the Persians are alive, even the car. And a little less suffering than Sinkai usually has, more lightness.
I feel sorry for the cat, but he had a great time. And maybe someone will release him again in 10 years))
Otherwise, an incredibly beautiful story in every sense)
Well, who in their right mind would exchange a talking cute kitty for a person they saw for a couple of seconds ((((
It's a good movie, but I can't forgive him for what they did to Daijin.
