Half the film roared. Whatever he is, it doesn't matter if I share his views or not. But, first of all, it's a person! Who loves his country and does everything he can to solve its main problem (corruption). A man who did not kill anyone, did not rob or rape, at first they tried to kill him, and then they just threw him behind bars, for the rest of his days, under the supervision of puppets with batons and boiling pots, in order to drive him crazy and he died himself. It hurts me that I live in this sur. What kind of animals do you have to be to do this to a living person?!?!

The story of a man who really wants to live. The story of a man who believes in what he is doing.
The injustice and pain that he carries with him, they are unknown to anyone. And I'm trying to imagine... And I can't. Half of the film with tears in his eyes is pain, hatred and fear, but I can't imagine what he went through and is going through.
And the simple white text on a black background with the words Kudryavtsev disappeared without a trace, it hurts. The pupils dilate and you realize what's really going on.
Yesterday, Dudya's interview with Maria Pevchikh was released. After not finishing it, I finally went to watch this movie. And the outbreaks of the winter of 2021. When you walk down the street with fear and distraught eyes, you read the news. I hoped so much then and I hope so much now that it would end, but it's only getting worse, worse, worse...

The film is drawn out by Navalny's story itself. What distinguishes it from the YouTube video is the insertion of a live video and some comments from other people involved in the exposure. If the documentary is a study, then I have a feeling that Daniel Roher was very lucky with a ready-made and already formulated story. The poisoning story itself is still up to tears. Alexey's words that the film will be released when it will no longer be there are generally sobbing. But from the point of view of the documentary - nothing new, nothing "wow ".

@nighthorrorfm: and from the point of view of "anguish" there is no wow. If they wanted not just a documentary for Netflix, but WOW!! and Oscar should have slightly adjusted the script and filmed the missing, but dramatic episodes (this is called "artistic documentaries)" - fortunately, Alexey is very charismatic and has quite good acting skills.
Just please, connoisseurs of real documentaries and journalism, do not fly here in the comments and do not write to me about "what are you!!!!? It's not like that in real life!!!" - I know that there are documentaries that, based on their stories or facts, can be dramatic in themselves and do not need to make up or invent anything, however, speakers and talking heads are usually very charismatic anyway - I'm too lazy to remember this, but let it be &#34God As An Illusion"

The film "Navalny" took the Oscar, and the Oscar was always given 5-10 years ago for merits in cinema, the film should represent something and also have a feature and a highlight, I did not see anything special in the documentary Navalny and more moreover, I will say the terrible thing: the film is sagging and boring to watch, there is no catharsis and the standard structure of the narrative is broken.

Please understand me correctly: I understand that the story of Navalny and the poisoning should not amuse me, but cinema should evoke emotions and should involve itself. And since the film is simply called Navalny, and not " The story of one poisoning" - then it was necessary to show other events from Alexey's life and yes, additionally shoot moments and wind up passions - all the more they counted on worldwide distribution, and half the world in general xs who is there such a bulk.

@Finn_The_Human: I remember in an interview with Dudya it was said that Zakhar reacted calmly to his dad, almost without looking up from the affairs of a modern teenager. Like "again", because that's the reality of children. I was very impressed. And yes, speaking of Alexey's charisma and acting skills, I agree. It was possible to supplement, dilute, strengthen. In addition, their whole family is cool, there is a lot of archival content. The story of the poisoning and the investigations itself is so emotional, but if Navalny's identity and the role of supporting his wife and family had been better revealed, it would have been more touching.

@Finn_The_Human: Under "Roher was lucky with the already formulated story" I also said that the film just tells the story as it is. There was a lot of material published and yes, I agree with "the film should represent something and also have some kind of feature and zest, but I didn't see anything special." You just formulated something coolly that I didn't get to myself) But in the meantime, the film will also touch the hearts of the target audience, as did the video on Navalny's channel. And those who were not so immersed in the context of the opposition, they are unlikely to be moved to tears and smeared. The film will be passing and there will be no effect "damn, bring another Oscar"

@nighthorrorfm: Thank you for the kind words about my speeches. I'm just a film director by education lol)))
but here I have to bet " And those who were not so immersed in the context of the opposition, it is unlikely to get to tears and smear. The film will be passing and there will be no effect "damn, bring another Oscar"" - see just the same huge minus of the film "Navalny " is that it will not capture New Minds outside the position, but in fact they are at it and they claimed, and moreover, they wanted such recognition at the world level. And again, for those who followed Navalny's channels, there is nothing new and WOW, I've been watching))) and I repeat: the scene where Navalny feeds a donkey is not that right in my heart)))) Or who was he feeding there ? But I am glad that you understood my speech about dramaturgy and the disclosure of Alexei's personality. thank you.

By the way, the donkey is cool in the Banshee Insher in the movie))))

@Finn_The_Human: "he won't capture New Minds out of position, but in fact they claimed to do it" and so on - I mean the same thing, but in clumsy words))) I also followed all the events in real time and the film just refreshed my memories, but did not complete them.

in general, I don't really go for movies) I rarely watch and rely only on feelings, not education and watching enough, so it was interesting to find out about the look. Thank you!)

In the epilogue of the film "Navalny" (directed by Daniel Rohr, 2022), Alexey answers the question: if you are imprisoned and killed, what would you say to the Russians now, turn to them. Here is his answer:

"Don't give up. If this happened, it means that we are extremely strong at this moment, since they decided to kill me. Remember that we are a huge force that is under the yoke of bad dudes just because we can't realize how strong we really are. All that is needed for the triumph of Evil is the inaction of good people. There is no need to do nothing."

A man who will definitely have a monument erected in the new Russia!
My childhood was killed, that naivety where I listen to music, enjoy life and believe that one day Navalny will get out of prison and say Hello, it's me again. Great bitterness and pain.
How much more death and despair is needed for people to change at least something in their heads, to see only more pain and disappointment in reality.
