"Gangster, cop and the devil" tries to enter the territory of classic hard Korean thrillers in the style of "Stalker" and "I saw the devil ", but it does not escalate much and periodically slides into an unashamed action movie. The plot catches on with the idea - a policeman and a bandit (read: a respected person) have to unite to catch a maniac, whose attack was survived by this very gangster from the title (by the way, he is played by a hefty peasant from the Train to Busan. A very charismatic guy - he also performs here for all the money). The concept is clearly not innovative, but I can't immediately recall examples in which the cooperation of two opposing sides was so large-scale. Unfortunately, the tone of the film is uneven, constantly jumps - it can be difficult to concentrate. At the same time, there are clearly not enough plot twists. However, the screenwriters hide behind the title "based on real events". Nevertheless, it is a good example of a Korean thriller without kinks.

The movie is gorgeous. Actor Kim Sung-gyu coped with the role of a serial killer very well, and in this film I fell in love with his acting skills.❤️

The cast is gorgeous, the plot, the fights, Ma Dong-seok is as beautiful as ever, even in the role of a gangster. Everything is very cool, so I recommend it

It's a good movie, and the story is great, and the movie even tries to reason who is really a cop here and who can do justice. I had a lot of fun, but it seemed that the format was too small. It's like adding half an hour and showing the relationship between a cop and a gangster better, and showing a maniac better. However, this is already a quibble, the best, as they say, is the enemy of the good.
