I'm a fan of Robert Pattinson and Twilight (a childhood movie, what can I do), but the paradox is that it was during the time of participation in the saga that I absolutely did not like him.
The analogy is not very good, but who would like to be always evaluated by what he was like in childhood, school, university, at his first job as an intern?
Comparisons * vampire Edward became Batman and turned out to be not bad / bad * they just take me out every time. It's been 14 years! During this time, he had many interesting and different roles (Lighthouse, Argument, the Devil is always here).
Such comments, it seems to me, only say that a person is not interested in cinema at all, watches something advertised and his opinion comes from the masses, not changing for years.
You can, after all, watch a video about Robert on the Kinopoisk channel, where they talk about the transformation of the actor.
And if you evaluate the film, it is far from a masterpiece, but I quite agree with a rating of 7.9/10.
I think we managed to bring something new, here Batman is completely different, not a cool pretentious hero, but still young, immature, who has yet to go his way to becoming.
I really hope that the sequels will develop the plot properly. In the Nolan trilogy, too, the first film is weaker.
PS toffee. Until now, for me, the best Batman movie is considered to be Burton's (although there was not much Batman himself there)
Now about the pros. Pattinson's Batman has no analogues in Batman movies. For the first time, he was shown not as an ideal gloomy hero, but as a man with his own shortcomings in such numbers. They're talking about acting here... It is very difficult for me to evaluate the performance of an actor whose face is hidden by a mask 90% of the time. Kravets stirred up Halle Berry's cat in her memory, and a nostalgic attack made the film even better and smoothed out many disadvantages. Liked it more than Affleck's Batman stories, but less than Bale's Batman. I'm unlikely to revise it, but I left a pleasant impression.
P.S. - I remember most of all the final scene of personal pulling people out of the flooded rubble. I don't recall that other Batmen directly helped the residents of tete-a-tete like this, and not an abstract struggle with the great evil.
of the minuses, Kravitz and Pattinson are absolutely not suitable for each other. With all my love for Rob's work, the best Batman movie is still the Arkham trilogy
Batman, but not quite like Batman, in a slightly different path.
A down-to-earth catwoman whose Grandmother knitted a suit and who uses a pistol in place of her famous whip. I rarely want to review a movie, this is one of the few films that I wanted to review. And if a sequel comes out, and it most likely will, I want to see what other supervillains will look like in a mundane form.
The Joker has already been shown, it looks good, I want to see Mr. Freeze, two-faced, poison ivy, etc. in a down-to-earth form.
(In short, I really liked the movie) 😊👍🏻
And in fact, completely in the spirit of the original comics of the Detective Comics line. Why invent a wheel when you have one?))
I got high from the detective component of the movie, as much as I don't like Patisson, so he's perfectly laid out here. His jaw fit perfectly under the mask))
As for the cast. I'm not questioning Robert Pattinson's acting talent in any way, but this role... The feeling that Bella still left Edward for the wolf, and he decided to change his occupation. Sad, melancholic, with these sometimes not very relevant arguments about the meaning of life. With exactly the same facial expression throughout the movie. Are you being shot at? A kiss? Did you almost lose a loved one? Did you find out that your father was involved in a murder? That all this shit is almost your fault? What's the difference? Wrinkles appear from emotions, so we keep the same expression. The mask, by the way, helped him a lot in this.
In general, if you watch the first half hour of the movie and the last, skipping the middle, you won't lose much.
P.S. The scene at the very end, where Batman leads people, is the only frame worth watching, but watch the whole movie just for this moment...
A cat's sucking mask is a special shame, costume designer, you shit yourself.
After two hours, it became really more interesting to watch, the movement began, the fights and the lines of the characters began to open up. Robert Pattinson looks cool playing Batman, and Paul Dano is also very good in this movie. I can mention just the scene at the interrogation of the riddler, where both actors performed perfectly. I don't see any more special advantages in the film. I'm waiting for the second part.
I give my vote for the riddler ❔
