Description
After a series of life troubles Anya decides to completely change her life. She takes out a dusty bicycle, puts her dachshund Kapa in the trailer and sets o! to the most remote town in Russia to reconcile with her mother whom she has not been in touch with for 13 years. A resident of big city, Anya is not tough enough for a 10,000-kilometer road, injured feet, dangers and trials. Will she be able to cope with the di"iculties that a long road full of incredible meetings and amazing landscapes has prepared for her?
And the scenery is really very beautiful.
I won't lie, the attitude was immediately biased — not many good films have been released in Russia lately, and even less in the genre of romcoms. The poster of the film did not inspire confidence, there was a taste of what I would see next Christmas trees or bitterly. I am an avid cyclist myself, and the bike theme is not indifferent to me, so I decided to watch at least the trailer. And you know what? I liked.
The film is on the one hand a road movie, on the other hand a slice of life. We are shown the difficulties that you face in a long bike ride, in different people who meet on the way. They focus on different words that are specific only to a certain area. They show nature, the local population, their way of life and customs.
This film is very similar to Walter Mitty. Except that the setting is Russia and its multinational culture.
Going through the trials, the main character changes. She wants to believe, she wants to empathize.
Which is not typical for Russian cinema, there are practically no jokes about urine and feces. Maybe only one, but it is extremely appropriate and really funny.
Overall, the humor in the film is pleasant. Light, not vulgar, and most importantly, funny.
I would like to note separately the attention to detail. Bicycles, clothes, and travel attributes are chosen correctly and used correctly.
Good camerawork, but personally I didn't have enough screen time of nature.
Solid 9 out of 10. I will definitely go to the cinema again, I will definitely watch it myself and with friends.
Many familiar actors are involved, beautiful views of nature, pleasant musical accompaniment. And another story based on real events! In general, it's a nice movie, maybe I would have watched it a couple more times even. Still, watching the girl Anya, who sent her on such a long journey on a bicycle and a dog, you get motivated somehow even yourself. We can say that even some reinterpretations took place with her, to be honest. And at the end of the journey, she blossomed in a new way, as if spring Inspires!
My friend changed her mind about going, the plans changed.
I don't take offense at her and I don't hold a grudge against her, everything happens the same way!

Jokes are funny, and at some points it was possible to cry (I repeat, the finale upset me!)
The camerawork is on top, the soundtrack is also good, I was glad that the song "Mom" from Burito was put on the final credits, she is my favorite and perfectly fits this film!

But, the most important actress in this film is the dog Taisiya (dachshund), she played the best!)

The trailer just hooked me that it should be simple, the people of Russia, the beauty of Russia. Unfortunately, I won't watch a movie, but I'll be happy to watch it on TV later as an opportunity.

I definitely recommend it and I will review it myself more than once. Very sincere, beautiful, touching to the quick. No cynicism, wonderful humor, touching relationships, different people, good and not so good. And there are a lot of stories and situations that happen on the road and lead to different consequences. I started looking at it with skepticism, but I got involved very quickly and couldn't get away from it anymore.
