Overview
Remy, a rat living in Paris, possesses a palate far more refined than that of his fellow comrades. He dreams of becoming a chef, determined to create culinary masterpieces rather than scavenge for scraps. When fate deposits him in the sewers beneath one of Paris’s most famous restaurants, he finds himself ideally placed to fulfill his dream. Forming an unusual alliance with a bumbling young kitchen worker, Remy begins a daring culinary double life. Together, they must outwit the scheming Head Chef Skinner, evade Remy’s disapproving colony, and impress renowned food critic Anton Ego, who strikes fear in the hearts of chefs all throughout France.

You can't watch it when you're hungry - drooling 😂
New - The second Part has been put into production
What's there to think about? If a good cartoon comes out - a good 2 part, then of course you should be happy, but if a bad one comes out, then yes, then you should be sad.

Even now, many cartoons that are 15-20 years old look better than the same cartoons that are less than 5 years old (not all but some)
Little Italy - as it is
Oh yes, the moments with the sanitary inspector are some of the best, just insanely funny!
, the picture fills with a sense of nostalgia and thoughts about the possibility of achieving anything, if only the
creators wanted to, they depicted more than 270 products and ready meals on the screen, and each of them was really cooked, photographed and drawn. to make the movement of the rats realistic, they were kept in the studio for more than a year, as a result, 1.15 million hairs were drawn from Remy.
Pixar is simply amazing
It still brings back fond memories.
One of my favorites. About the dream. About the food. With a pleasant aftertaste. It's like you can smell spices, olive oil, tomatoes...
every time you review it, you want to cook something delicious and unusual. Ratatouille, for example.
// or, as after watching Garfield, lasagna//
If you find a house at 8 Rue des Halles on Google maps - and look at it in panoramas, then you can see the very showcase where dead rats hang (Top places to visit in Paris, I think)
- Brother Atui? He looks like a rat...
- What did you say?!
Actually, this is Schrodinger's first rat. She is under the hood, but she doesn't seem to be there throughout the cartoon. I won't say that cooking a dish with rats made me hungry, but the idea itself is certainly entertaining.
It's a little unclear why there were love feelings between our curly-haired fake chef and that pointy-nosed Frenchwoman, but okay. Thank you that at least Remy did not look for rat Lariska to deepen the plot.
And let's be honest - did you also have any thoughts during the viewing, which rat achieved greater success - Splinter or Remy?
Which is more difficult? Should I raise fighting turtles or make soup out of them?
And according to the cartoon... This is probably the maximum that can be squeezed out of such a story. The best scene of the cartoon is when all the rats came to Remy's aid to cook dishes. I am glad that the family did not turn away from him in a difficult moment.
I'm reviewing it very privately.
I love the words of the boss " Don't let anyone put you in the frame"
I try to review it at least once every year, although I'll probably be quoting from it soon. Remy the mouse has forever sunk into my heart.
Here, each character is good in his own way, even the critic Antoine Egault and the chef Zhivoder arouse a kind of sympathy. ☺️
The cartoon is one of the most beloved in childhood, and in adulthood you realize that it is not only interesting and cute, but also instructive. Basically, like everything at Pixar.
❤️
In many ways, the work of a critic is simple: we risk nothing, but we put ourselves above those who bring their work and themselves to our judgment. It's nice to write and read crushing reprimands, but we critics should admit that in the big picture of the universe, any nastiness is probably more important than all our criticism of it.
