Description
Shouya Ishida starts bullying the new girl in class, Shouko Nishimiya, because she is deaf. But as the teasing continues, the rest of the class starts to turn on Shouya for his lack of compassion. When they leave elementary school, Shouko and Shouya do not speak to each other again... until an older, wiser Shouya, tormented by his past behaviour, decides he must see Shouko once more. He wants to atone for his sins, but is it already too late...?

the only thing that was missing was romance at the end. there was just one moment in the middle of the film, which was then not supported by anything, and it turned out to be somehow off topic. but it's true, the quibbles are small. and the story itself is wonderful and instructive. I advise everyone to watch it!!

how awesome that they didn't make gg-ev a couple in the end for the sake of a tick. the ending just gives a lot of food for thought and reflection about bullying and its consequences. and about self-improvement and self-love.
