The director and one of the authors of the script of this fairy tale is Karen Zakharov, who mainly took part in the series, but he also has several not particularly popular films. Like a fairy tale, she might have screamed, but, for my taste, it turned out to be a terrible miscasting with almost all the characters. And where they got there, the script ruined everything. No, hand-drawn flashbacks are still fine, although it would be possible to draw not so schematically, but there the story itself does not stand up to criticism, that's just completely. And Artemyev does not pull Baba Yaga, and Ivan Tsarevich is so-so from Tsapnik, I'm not talking about Siyatvind Koshchei! Ilyin still looked good in the image of a brownie, but there was a small role, and Tarkhanova was good, she did well, but the lines were poor.. Whether to watch this next outrage or not is up to you, but I definitely would not recommend it. There is too much adulthood and very little humor for a children's fairy tale — where does this fit? And adults won't come in, especially since it's not interesting and the plot is moronic.

Сегодня сходил на эту картину - не по своей воле, естественно. Получил вполне ожидаемые эмоции: скуку, разочарование, гнев, ненависть, отсутствие желания жить.
Здесь плохо все: актерская игра, спецэффекты, отсутствие логики повествования, ненужные персонажи, появляющиеся просто так, чтоб было; костюмы актеров выглядят дешево и убого, некоторые персонажи напоминают скорее бомжей, нежели сказочных героев.
Хотелось бы это развидеть раз и навсегда. Но, к сожалению, с этим мне теперь жить.

This is how I would like to describe the film "Baba Yaga saves the world."
I'll start with the fact that before I went for it, I read the reviews, and I saw more negative than positive ones, and something after that I didn't really want to watch this movie anymore, although I liked the trailer.
So, why did I watch this movie and still go to the cinema to see it? The answer is simple!
Mom received a cashback on the card, and she and I thought about where to spend it and eventually decided to go to the cinema.
The choice was quite meager and from the next films, there was just this tape, well, as you all already understood, we went with her to this film.
And what can I say about the movie?
"Baba Yaga Saves the World" is not the worst, but also not a great movie that I have ever watched.
If you ignore the very average effects, the cringe moments, and just turn off the brain for 85 minutes, then this is quite a good movie for once.
The plot is simple, but it was quite interesting, the 90-minute timekeeping flew by quite quickly.
The jokes in the film are funny, but for most of the film I laughed not from them, but from the edge, because there was quite a lot of it in this film.
I went to this film for Lyudmila Artemyeva and Olesya Zheleznyak (because I love these actresses after the TV series "Matchmakers") and they did a great job with their roles, and the children surprisingly played their roles quite normally, which is unexpected and good for a Russian film.
The rest of the actors also played their characters well.
As a result, "Baba Yaga saves the world" is a pretty lamp tale, with excellent actors and a very good plot.
I give this movie 7.5 out of 10 and recommend it for viewing at home, but if you suddenly want to go to the cinema, then you can go to the cinema to see this movie!
P.S: Well, also, I hope that there will still be no sequel (because there is a hint of it in the finale, butK. this film is doing well at the box office, so maybe it will be released, but for me personally, the first part is already a finished work).

I liked the reference (it seems to me, in any case, that the idea was exactly that) with a poster of Elena Yakovleva on the wall in the apartment of the boy's grandmother Senka. Like, she also played Baba Yaga. And definitely good! In general, I like fairy tales in a modern way. And this story turned out to be quite good. What are there only stupa shots in flight over the metropolis. It's not a new idea, yes, but it's definitely different. With a different look, so to speak. And what? There is a place to be, I believe. It was interesting to see. It's true for once, but it deserves attention. I especially liked the moment with the transformation of Yagini. Artemyeva is a beauty! 😍👌🏻

It's just a movie for preschoolers. The actors, except for Kashchey and the plot are quite normal for such an age of the audience. I, as an adult, certainly did not go.

Artemyeva and Zheleznyak are on top. The actors are generally well-chosen. The exception of Kashchey, something is wrong in the image .... Some kind of plump, very well-fed turned out...

Children like it). And what is the demand from adults if it is not designed for them? The product is for an audience under 12-13 years old. Then it's purely under the mood and nostalgia for children's fairy tales.

If you don't die from a cringe in the first forty minutes, then it looks somehow easier later. Well, of course, our children speak only slang words and nothing else, and phones are evil, but in general you can look at it. I felt discomfort from Ivan's tackles to Marya. The actors have a 15-year difference, but in the film it seems like she's just a girl, and he's an old dick who climbs up to her. And the Goblin, who according to the canon both tricked and led travelers astray and so on, here became a Groot who can repeat only one phrase
