The film is based on real events. That's where this guy lived by the sea, on a cliff. And there were suicides all the time. So he sat there, waiting for these poor devils. He invited me to tea or said he needed help around the house. He got them talking, and they changed their minds about killing themselves.
The film is fantastic. I advise everyone. It's very funny
It's a great movie, very modern, despite the fact that 24 years have passed
