And, what a mess!
Of course, there is a feeling that everything is somehow too simple, and on the one hand, I am glad that we were shown how the whole puzzle unfolded, but on the other hand.. And whether it was necessary to explain it in such detail..
But it's still an incredible mess!
Great cast, interesting plot, and it's all very well shot. I definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't gotten around to watching it.
It's a great genre movie from the days when all you had to do to brighten up the evening with a good movie was turn on the CTC and enjoy the good time. An acceptably strong script with an interestingly told story, a brisk pace with amusingly creative editing bursts and ... something so amorphous, barely perceptible, something that is in almost every good film of those times. And even noticeably outdated solutions do not generate any negativity, ridicule, or disgust inside.
"Cinema for a comfortable evening" is a favorite and always a win—win genre.
In general, even after 20 years, the film is beautiful) That's exactly what's missing right now
