I'm disappointed in Aquaman's director. He has been shooting some horror films all his life (I am not a fan and have not watched any, including because of the way the picture of such scarecrows is constructed), and then they gave him such a diamond in his hands. There was a lot of everything mixed up at once, if you break it into episodes of 3,5,15 minutes, then everyone will be cool in their own way, but the synthesis of the whole film (at least the first half of it) in my opinion did not take place.


Aquaman seems to have the type of a buffoon who is always having fun and constantly throws stupid jokes, but at the same time there were some jokes...not enough? They immediately try to show him as a hikkan and a strange child, a stranger among his own. At first, he does not help save the father of the main antihero, and then shows himself how much he loves his old man and is ready to forgive his relatives their sins - um? The background of his parents in general was shown so quickly and so crumpled that it seems that this is generally a topic for a separate film about Aquaman. In general, so many "but " were the first..an hour and a half of the movie? I don't consider myself a movie fan and an evil film critic at all, this is probably the first time I have such ambivalent feelings.

From the good! First of all, Jason Mamoa. He's just amazing on his own. Whatever role you give him, he will take it out on his charisma, eyebrows and silky thick hair alone. The final fight, when Aquaman finally got his power, is exactly what I'm waiting for every time I start watching DC or Marvel movies. Including the director's and camerawork was just on top! I watched the last half hour of the movie with a buzz. I'm really looking forward to the second part!

I really liked the movie, it's incredibly beautiful! Jason Momoa is great! And with all my, to put it mildly, dislike for Amber Heard, but even she looks very beautiful in this movie.

This is the first DC movie that I really liked! the graphics are very beautiful😍

I applaud the cameraman - the battle scene in Sicily is beyond praise

When I watched it for the first time, I caught a bunch of cringe from the main character, his villain, children's jokes and Defoe with Lundgren with wavy hair. There is even a video review. After reviewing it. Either the bar has already dropped so much, or I still caught this childish and laid-back vibe of the comic)
