And again, Cinderella, poor screenwriters, there are no new ideas. we will once again reshoot the old ones. The Scandinavian prince of Turks? Or where it's happening I've missed. But it was beautifully shot, I liked it, it was almost frosty)

The film was pleasantly pleased. The authors of the remake carefully and lovingly told the story we love so much. The musical theme, referring to a song from an old movie, responded warmly. The snow that accidentally fell on the set of the first film reigns here and warms the soul. Cinderella is wearing a good winter coat, she is changing her fur boots for ballroom shoes. The mother-stepmother here is not just a stupid and greedy lady, but a tyrant, from whose cruelty not only Cinderella suffers, but also her own daughter. To love this movie does not mean to give up love for that. On the contrary, it's like the granddaughter of that movie, legendary and magical. He was so beautiful that the light and warmth from him would be enough for grandchildren :). In the new version, it remains an intrigue what was in the third nut. And what exactly should Cinderella do to become happy.

@RenEsme: Why intrigue? She was running around in a nightgown, and the third nut gave her her own image, which is familiar to her. The message here is " love me for who I am".

The film is cool, it was shot beautifully, and the prince was played by Yusef from the Scam, what else is needed?

I liked. All the Norwegian films that I've seen have some kind of special gloominess when the picture is bright. I don't know how to put it more precisely. Here, at the moments where the stepmother is shown, it really became scary from one look at her, which has never happened from any stepmother from all kinds of film adaptations.
It seems to be the same story, the same dialogues as in the Czech version, but still different. It looks no less interesting, but it causes other emotions. There was a light fairy tale, here a darker one, but still also a fairy tale.

It was shot close to the original, but there is no highlight. Beautiful views of nature, a disgusting and memorable stepmother, a pretty actress who played Cinderella and that's probably all. Cinderella herself spent half of the film with a dirty face, while doing laundry. Everyone already knows that she is Cinderella, why emphasize it so clearly? The outfits made of nuts were very simple, I would like more chic, she must hook him with it, otherwise what is the point of dressing up? Well, the shoe that Cinderella lost did not look miniature, although in the original it is exactly so.
