Description
A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. She rises to be the land's fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal – an act that begins to turn her heart into stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading King's successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom – and to Maleficent's true happiness as well.
one of the best transformations of an animated character in a feature film. Disney played both the story and the character of the heroine in a cool new way, and, of course, did a great job on the visual part of the film
After all, fairy-tale stories are better to watch in the form of a cartoon. Because when they are shifted to real people in films, they seem naive fools. Although Jolie is great in the role of Maleficent, you can't take that away. The rest of the caste didn't impress me.
More on the claims. The movie is dark most of the time. It's certainly tolerant, but it's still a fairy tale. I didn't have enough brightness, juiciness. It wasn't enough.
And the story itself... In general, the king can be understood. You wanted a daughter - and you had a cruiser (fut-ha!). Even then, Kirkorov will begin to take care of the cruiser. That's a fairy tale! What? Not Kirkorov? So what about Philip? Oh, the other one...
Okay, okay, seriously, you can watch the movie. But it is unlikely to reconsider. For some reason, I was also a little annoyed by the constantly smiling Aurora. Moreover, she smiled as if she was not expressing emotions, but was advertising a paste or a dental company. There is such an expression - "smile with your teeth", that's about her.
And yes, she was also very stupidly pricked with a spindle. I was waiting for some kind of tricky twist, a disguised spindle for something, but... figushki! Follow the voice, Aurora, akhalai-mahalai, put the spindle back together! Well, it's not interesting.
