Description
The Sea Inside is about Spaniard Ramón Sampedro, who fought a 30-year campaign to win the right to end his life with dignity. It is the story of Ramón’s relationships with two women: Julia a lawyer who supports his cause, and Rosa, a local woman who wants to convince him that life is worth living.
This is an outstanding film that allows you to experience all the feelings and experiences of the main character. and of course I understand him. Hardly anyone wants to be a burden to their loved ones and live the rest of their lives like this. Moreover, he says to his brother: "What if you are not there, what will I and your family do?" But here the main idea of the film is the cohesion of the family, their support (it is unlikely that in our time you can now find such a thing). Even the nephew helps Ramon and does not contradict his instructions, but on the contrary.
The film shows the reverse side of a beautiful life. Life on the part of a disabled person, immobilized and limited in existence. Who has already made his choice, but his choice is hampered by ethical norms and state laws.
Why such difficulties if a person is already doomed. Oh, yes, the church regulations. By the way, I was amused by the dialogue between Ramon and the mentor of the church)).
But from watching the movie, and 2 hours of wasted time, which I do not regret. It can be concluded that a person is free to manage his life and his time. The film touches on many problems, but still the opinion and desires of a person play a significant role in life and this must be taken into account.
My rating of the film is 10 out of 10. This film is amazing, which will make a person think about the meaning of life and about their actions.
