Description

Lil and Roz are two lifelong friends, having grown up together as neighbors in an idyllic beach town. As adults, their sons have developed a friendship as strong as that which binds their mothers. One summer, all four are confronted by simmering emotions that have been mounting between them, and each find unexpected happiness in relationships that cross the bounds of convention.

Yes, the plot is certainly very strange, friends have raised lovers for each other. Okay, Ian and Roz there, although it really felt like everything was for love, but Tom and Lil it was all originally purely in retaliation (at least on Tom's part). As a result, the ladies themselves did not set these boundaries and broke the boys. The visual is cool, the views are especially very beautiful, it seemed that the house near the island was something their secret, even more than that platinum (or what was it?). The ending was not surprising, it would have been more surprising if the girlfriends had suddenly turned out to be a couple (and why not?). And in general, Ian somehow sympathized more, more sincere that he was. Mary and Hannah were also traumatized in their own way (they reacted even less calmly). But in general, it was a very good movie, the actresses were super, Tom was kind of wooden, probably Ian seemed more pleasant against his background and felt some warmth from him, so I'm surprised that Lil and Tom broke down, he just got comfortable…
