Description
An award-winning cynical journalist, Lloyd Vogel, begrudgingly accepts an assignment to write an Esquire profile piece on the beloved television icon Fred Rogers. After his encounter with Rogers, Vogel's perspective on life is transformed.
By the way, the face of the actress who played the wife of the main character of the journalist seemed familiar all the time, I looked at the film - so she is one of the main characters in "This is us" – Beth, Randall's wife 😅
I thought we were watching a re–enactment of the real show, but since the story has passed to Lloyd, and we see his life - was it such an artistic device?
I wonder if the whole movie will be scenery, not real views? It would be interesting, bold and funny.
"I'm going to give a speech from her first wedding. Or the second " "Just change the name" 😂
Isn't the fat groom Brendan Fraser by any chance? 😂
"He's scared" "Of course – he's marrying Lorraine" 😆 The guy apparently has a low opinion of his sister 😅
Did Mr. Rogers mean his father when he talked about Lloyd and the insults? It seems that he was not a loving father, not the way he should be...
public interest lawyer caused deja vu – as if in another movie or TV series, too, the heroine has the same job and someone criticizes that this is not a profitable business
Yeah, dad is not a pleasant person...
When he saw his bearded father in the studio, he remembered "This is us" again, he thought – this is Jack 😂
This is Mr. freaking Rogers. You're not writing about Gorbachev 😂
Was it hard for Lloyd in life, and he began to hide under the mask of cynicism, to see only the bad in people? And that's why he can't believe that Mr. Rogers is so kind?
Am I the only one who constantly thinks of Lloyd's suit as a bathrobe? 😅 The impression that he, like a homeless man, is constantly walking the streets in a bathrobe 😅
I wonder how Lloyd offers to sleep at home so that his wife can return to work, given that it seems in the second season of "This is Us" Randall and Beth (played by the same actress) have There was a similar conversation 😅
