"The Fall of the House of Usher" is a new horror series from Mike Flanagan, creator of "The Haunting of Hill House " and "Midnight Mass". The project tells the story of Roderick and Madeline Usher, a brother and sister who turned the pharmaceutical company Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into a powerful empire and a source of wealth and power. But when the heirs to the Usher dynasty begin dying at the hands of a mysterious woman, the family must face the ghosts of the past.
The series is based on short stories by Edgar Allan Poe. All eight episodes of "Ushers" will be released on October 12.
