Netflix has revealed a teaser for "Leave the World Behind" from the "Mr. Robot" writer
Netflix has unveiled the debut teaser for "Leave the World Behind", the new film from Sam Esmail, creator of "Mr. Robot". Esmail directed and wrote the project.
In the center of the plot will be a married couple, who together with their children are vacationing on the Long Island. Suddenly in the middle of the night appears the owner of the house, which they rent, and reports that there has been a disaster. The situation is getting worse, the world is being destroyed, and the owner and his daughter want to hide in the house from the chaos. Will the two families manage not to fall apart and survive?
The main roles in the movie were played by Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, Mahershala Ali, Miha'la Herrold, and Kevin Bacon, and the project was produced by Higher Ground Productions — the company of Barack and Michelle Obama.
The film will premiere on Netflix on December 8, and will be released in limited release on November 22.
