Watch the trailer for the detective anime "Pluto"
Netflix has unveiled the full trailer for the anime "Pluto". The show is based on the manga of the same name by Naoki Urasawa and Takashi Nagasaki, which tells about the formation of one of the main villains of "Astro Boy".
The action of "Pluto" is set in a future where humans and highly functional humanoid robots live in harmony. That was until someone begins to destroy the most famous robots of the planet. Detective Gesicht takes on the case and is surprised to discover that the murders are apparently being committed by non-humans — and robots can't kill humans either. And soon it turns out that Gesicht himself has become the target of a criminal.
The producer of the anime is Masao Maruyama, the founder of MAPPA ("Attack of the Titans") studio. All eight episodes of the project will appear on Netflix on October 26.
