The producer of the movie "Ferrari" is working on a TV series about the founder of Adidas
A mini-series will be shot about the formation of the Adidas empire: producer Niels Juul, who worked on the films "Ferrari", "Killers of the Flower Moon", and "The Irishman", has made an agreement with the grandchildren of the founder of the sports brand Adolf Dassler.
The upcoming show will explore Dassler's life in a small German village, as well as his conflict with his brother Rudolf, who later created Puma, starting one of the longest-running brand rivalries in history.
The story, which Juul himself describes as a "cross between" the TV series "Succession" and "The Crown", will be told from the perspective of Inge, Dassler's eldest daughter. She will detail her father's "uncompromising passion for sports and his obsession through innovation".
The project is in the early stages of production. Juul is currently searching for writers and other producers for the series.
