"I am destined for greatness": watch the trailer for Ridley Scott's "Napoleon" movie
Sony Pictures Studios has released a new trailer of the historical drama "Napoleon", which will tell about the formation of the French emperor and commander. His role was played by Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix.
The movie will present an original view of Napoleon's youth and his rapid, uncompromising ascent to power, as well as tell about his relationship with his wife and the only true love Josephine (Vanessa Kirby).
The film was directed by Ridley Scott, the director of "Gladiator" and "The Martian", and the screenplay of the biopic was written by David Scarpa ("All the Money in the World").
The premiere of the film in theaters will be held on November 22. Later the picture will appear on Apple TV+. Also on the streaming service will be released on the director's version of "Napoleon" — according to Ridley Scott, its timing is about four hours.
