The series "Élite" will close after its eighth season

Netflix closed the Spanish series "Élite": the eighth season will be the final season for the project. This was told by the creator of the show Carlos Montero, who said that the decision was made by the authors of "Élite" and the streaming service.

The closure was announced shortly before the premiere of the seventh part: all episodes of the new season will appear on Netflix on October 20. The release of the eighth chapter of the show, the shooting of which began in August, will take place next year.

In the eighth season to the cast of the project joined En Roth and Nuno Gallego, as well as the series will return to Nadia, the role of which is played by Mina El Hammani. Recall, at the end of the third part of Nadia went to New York and appeared in the next chapter only sporadically — calling to Gusman. In the fifth season, the heroine Mina was no longer in the series.

"Élite" tells about the students of the private school "Las Encinas". In the center of the plot of the first season were three students from ordinary families, who receive a scholarship for training. The guys do not fit in at all in the society of rich classmates, but gradually find friends. Soon in "Las Encinas" one of the female students is murdered, and all the students fall under suspicion.
