Studio Warner Bros. has adjusted the release schedule and postponed the premiere of the film "Dune 2" for two weeks: now the picture will appear in theaters on March 1, 2024, not March 15, as previously planned.
This is the second postponement of the release of the movie Denis Villeneuve: initially the sequel "Dune" was to be released in November 2023, but because of the strike of the Actors Guild studio Warner Bros. postponed the premiere to 2024.
The main roles in the second part of the film were played by Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Stellan Skarsgard, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, and Christopher Walken. The project was written and directed by Denis Villeneuve, who worked on the first "Dune".
According to the plot of the sequel, Paul Atreides will team up with Chani and Fremen to find an opportunity to take revenge on Baron Vladimir Harkonnen. Faced with a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, Paul must prevent a terrible future that only he can foresee.
