"The Walking Dead" spin-off about Rick and Michonne will begin releasing in February

AMC released a teaser of the project "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live" — the next spin-off of the zombie series "The Walking Dead". The video announced the premiere date of the project: it will take place on February 25. In total, the first season of the show will have six episodes.

The upcoming series will tell about Rick and Michonne, to the roles of which Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira returned. As the storyline goes, they find themselves in a world plagued by a war against the dead, and afterward, against the living. Will they be able to find each other in this new world? And what will they become? Enemies? Lovers? Victors or victims? Or will they discover that they themselves have become the walking dead?

The showrunner of the project is Scott M. Gimple, producer and head of The Walking Dead franchise. Lincoln and Gurira are also producing the series.
