The movie will be out as early as tomorrow.

Sony Pictures has released the final trailer for "Napoleon", a historical drama about the French emperor and military leader. The role of Napoleon played by Joaquin Phoenix ("Joker").

The picture will tell about Napoleon's youth and his rapid, uncompromising rise to power. Also in the movie will show the relationship of the commander with his wife and the only true love Josephine (played by Vanessa Kirby).

Put the picture Ridley Scott — director of "Gladiator" and "The Martian". Recently, the director had to respond to criticism of the film: the project did not like the French publications, they called it "anti-French and pro-British".

"The French don’t even like themselves. The audience that I showed it to in Paris, they loved it", — said Scott.

The film will premiere tomorrow — November 22.

I read the reactions to it the other day, they write that it is average and, oddly enough, funny. People have already pulled apart memes and are having fun with "Beau(naparte) is afraid" and quotes about the lamb chop.

Armand Assante has remained my favorite Napoleon. I watched Napoleon and Josephine with him and Jacqueline Bisset at the age of 11, back in the early 90s, there was something like an American movie week or something on TV, and this mini-series was shown. I still remember the title melody from there. And let him be scolded for the historical unreliability of many moments and sheer melodramaticness, but how beautifully it was filmed, and how beautifully his love for Josephine is shown. And Armand Assante in this role is wonderful, after his Napoleon I do not perceive others😁
