Peter Capaldi returns to an old case in the trailer for the series' "Criminal Record" trailer

Apple TV+ has shared the trailer for the crime thriller "Criminal Record", starring Peter Capaldi ("Doctor Who") and Cush Jumbo ("The Good Wife").

In the story, experienced and influential detective Daniel Hegarty has to revisit an old case after an anonymous phone call. Despite the new lead, Hegarty is sure that years ago he managed to catch the criminal, but the young policewoman June suspects that behind bars sits an innocent man. How far is Hegarty willing to go to protect his reputation and legacy?

The series will consist of eight episodes. The first two will air on January 10, 2024, and the series will be released once a week thereafter.
