"You wanna see how far I get?": watch the trailer for "Griselda" about a famous drug lordess
Netflix has released a trailer for the crime drama "Griselda", an upcoming series about Colombian "cocaine godmother" Griselda Blanco.
The project will tell the story of how Blanco created one of the most lucrative drug cartels in history while raising three sons. In the 1970s and 80s, after immigrating from Colombia, she trafficked cocaine in New York and Miami, where she controlled all drug traffic for several decades. Thanks to her brutality and charm, Blanco became the first female billionaire criminal in history. She was assassinated in Colombia in 2012 at the age of 69.
Griselda was played by Sofia Vergara from "Modern Family", and the project was developed by director Andres Baiz and writer-producer Eric Newman, who previously worked on "Narcos".
All six episodes of "Griselda" will be released on Netflix on January 25.

Although the story is interesting, I personally do not like it when criminal activity is too romanticized in films and TV series.
