Sofia Boutella seeks allies in a snippet of the movie "Rebel Moon"

IGN portal showed an excerpt from the first part of the fantasy action film "Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire", the new movie directed and written by Zack Snyder ("300 Spartans", "Batman v Superman").

The main role in the film was performed by Sofia Boutella. She plays Cora — a girl with a mysterious past, who begins a new life in a peaceful colony of farmers on the outskirts of the galaxy. But when the despotic Belisarius discovers that the farmers have unwittingly sold their crops to a group of ferocious rebels, Cora becomes the colony's only hope for survival.

She must travel to other planets to find allies and repel the attack. Cora gathers a small group of warriors: outsiders, rebels, peasants and orphans from different worlds, who are united by one thing - the thirst for revenge.

Along with Butella, the movie stars Charlie Hunnam, Michiel Huisman, Djimon Hounsou, and Staz Nair.

The picture will be released on Netflix on December 22. Zack Snyder is already working on the sequel of the project, which will continue the story of the heroes. Its release will take place on April 19, 2024.
