New footage from the horror film “Nosferatu” with crazy Willem Dafoe has been released
Entertainment Weekly has revealed a new still from the gothic horror film "Nosferatu", which shows professor and vampire hunter Albin Eberhart von Franz, played by Willem Dafoe.
The photo shows him standing next to a tomb surrounded by flames. According to director and screenwriter Robert Eggers ("The Witch", "The Lighthouse"), it was a challenging scene for Dafoe, because in addition to the fact that the flames in the shot are real, the actor was also surrounded by two thousand rats. "Which was challenging but also fun", — commented Eggers.
The movie "Nosferatu" will be about real estate agent Thomas Hutter. After the creepy vampire Count Orlok becomes obsessed with Ellen, Thomas's wife, the man will have to find a way to resist the bloodsucker and save the family.
Along with Defoe in the tape starred Bill Skarsgard, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Emma Corrin. The horror film will premiere on December 25, 2024.
