"Oppenheimer" — the best movie, "Succession" and "The Bear" — the best TV series: the winners of the "Golden Globes 2024" became known
On the evening of January 7, the 81st Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles, awarded by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
The main triumphant of the evening was Christopher Nolan and his biopic "Oppenheimer": the tape was recognized as the best dramatic film, and Nolan himself — the best director. The association noted the performer of the title role Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. recognized as the best supporting actor, and also awarded the picture for the soundtrack.
In the category "Best Comedy Film" won the movie Yorgos Lanthimos "Poor Things" with Emma Stone in the title role. Stone was also recognized for Best Actress in a Comedy Film. The award winner among animated projects was Hayao Miyazaki's "The Boy and the Heron" while "Anatomy of a Fall" was named best foreign language film.
HBO's "Succession" was recognized as the best drama series of the year. The show's cast also received awards: Sarah Snook and Kieran Culkin received statuettes as best actress and actor in a drama series, and Matthew MacFadyen, who plays the role of Tom, won best supporting actor.
The award for best comedy series went to "The Bear" and "BEEF" was recognized as the best mini-series. The Foreign Press Association also singled out the performers of the main roles in both projects — Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri, as well as Steven Yang and Ali Wong.

And according to the news, everything is well deserved, awards were distributed very worthily. Nice for Murphy!
in general, yes, the globe turned out to be very cool this year, everything is worthy, everything is deserved, it's just a delight👏
And yes, the host was terrible, it would have been better if Jennifer Lawrence had hosted the show, she's a meme person 🤣
It's a small thing, but it's nice.
Good winners, no doubt.
благо не по квотам в этот раз, все достойны награды
I haven't looked at the heirs yet, but apparently in vain. I'm adding it to the list for viewing.
