The new season of the series "Genius" will tell the story of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X
National Geographic has released the trailer of the new part of the anthology "Genius", which tells about the lives of the greatest minds of our planet. In the center of the plot of the upcoming chapter of the project will be civil rights activists Martin Luther King and Malcolm X.
The show will tell about their formation and how their views were formed. King grew up in the Jim Crow-era South and attended church regularly, while X was troubled from childhood and ended up in prison as early as 20, where he learned about the Nation of Islam. The two dissimilar men ended up becoming major voices in the fight for African American rights.
Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Aaron Pierre played the lead roles. The first two episodes of the eight-episode show will premiere on February 1.
