Filming on the second season of "Severance" has resumed
Streaming service Apple TV+ announced the resumption of filming on the second season of the TV series "Severance", posting a black-and-white photo of Adam Scott running down a lighted hallway that looks like a Lumon office.
Shooting of the second season of the project started last spring, but in May Apple TV+ had to stop production due to a strike of scriptwriters, as well as the subsequent strike of actors. In addition, journalists reported that the release of new episodes was delayed due to the conflict of showrunners and overly inflated budget of the continuation.
The series "Severance" is about Mark, who works at Lumen Industries, a company that is going to bring work-life balance to a new level. Lumen Industries have invented a "severance" procedure that separates the memories of work from everything that exists outside of it. However, not everything goes according to plan, and soon Mark has to face the true nature of work and himself.
The show stars Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, and Christopher Walken in the lead roles, with Ben Stiller producing and directing the project.
