Watch the movie trailer for "A Quiet Place: Day One", the prequel to the horror franchise

The picture will be released in June.

Paramount Pictures has unveiled the trailer of the new movie "A Quiet Place: Day One" — the third installment of the horror franchise "A Quiet Place". As the title suggests, the picture will tell about the first day of the invasion, when deadly alien creatures with hypersonic hearing arrived on Earth.

In the prequel, the action of which develops in New York, there will be new characters for the franchise. They will be played by Lupita Nyong'o, Joseph Quinn, and Alex Wolfe. Also in the movie will appear the character of Djimon Hounsou from the second part.

The first and the second "A Quiet Place" was directed by John Krasinski, who also starred in the first movie. However, the third part will have a new director — he became Michael Sarnoski ("Pig").

The premiere of the tape will take place on June 28.
