Supernatural drama "Evil" will close after its fourth season
Paramount+ is closing "Evil": the upcoming fourth season will be the supernatural horror series' last. The series was renewed back in June, but at that time it was not known that this season would be the final one.
However, the creators will have the opportunity to adequately complete the story and all the plot branches: Paramount+ ordered four bonus episodes in addition to the season. Filming on the new episodes will begin in New York in the coming weeks, and the final chapter of the show will premiere in May.
The "Evil" series is about a skeptical psychologist who takes on investigations into alleged supernatural incidents. Assisting her will be a priest and a blue-collar worker. Their job is to figure out if there is a logical explanation for these incidents or if it's really the work of something supernatural.
The creators of the show are Robert and Michelle King ("The Good Wife"). In a statement, they thanked Paramount+ for the opportunity to finish telling the story in bonus episodes, and said they will miss the series and its team.
